What is
Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup, also known as
Intradermal Pigmentation, is a
revolutionary method of applying
natural pigments into the dermal
layer of skin. This
state-of-the-art technique is
medically proven and
specifically designed to be
completely safe.
Permanent makeup is used for a
variety of cosmetic enhancements
such as permanent eyebrows, eye
liner, and lip liner/colour.
Other permanent makeup
procedures include vitiligo,
scar camouflage, areola
restoration, hairline
enhancement, and more. Permanent
makeup has also been used to
cover-up stretchmarks,
birthmarks, freckles/age spots,
and uneven skin discolorations.
The pigment in the skin can last
3-5 years, depending on the
colour used and the individual
variation in the skin
replacement rates. The average
length of time an implant can
last is 3 years. Treatment
times varies depending on the
extent and nature of the
treatment. An appointment time
of 1 hour is generally allowed.
A retouch appointment might be
needed after 4 weeks time, to
check colour and shape and make
any necessary adjustments.
